Different Shapes of a Swimming Pool

If you already made up your mind in adding a swimming pool to your backyard, the pool shape is one of the major decisions you have to make. The shape should complement the location of the swimming pool to where you want it to be built as well as the activities and events of the family that may take place in the future.

Kidney Pools. This type of swimming pool shape has a semi-circular area on both sides that is arc inwards. Due to its random shape, it feels more like a natural lake even with artificial waterfalls. Once the pool water flows, it continuously circulates other than crashing on the edges.

Figure 8 Pools. This type of swimming pool shape is rounded in both ends. It is built and designed like the numeric value number 8 in mind. Feeling the free flow of pool water makes a good thing with this pool shape. Just like the Kidney pool shape swimming pool, its curves help the pool water circulate better other than other pool shapes that have sharp edges.

Lazy L Pools. This type of swimming pool shape is as entertaining as its name. It is literally built keeping the Capital letter L in mind. It is a combination of two rectangular pools put together forming a right angle.

Geometric Pools. This type of swimming pool is also like the free form pools. It can be designed and build depending on the backyard shape in a common and well pointed geometric pattern.
